Recommendation Letters

Letter of Recommendation Information 

Whitnall High School students should fill out the following letter of recommendation request form when asking you in person to write a letter of recommendation on their behalf.  Hard copies can be found in the Counseling Office.

• STEPS FOR SUBMITTING LETTERS TO UW-MADISON:Teachers should use: UW-Madison’s letters of recommendation website to submit letters.

• UW Systems Schools  (other than UW- Madison) letter of recommendation form - teachers can fill out and send to a university instead of writing a letter.  Or you may bring a written letter to the Counseling Office to be mailed to the university. Students fill out the top section and send it to you for your completion.

• If students are applying to college through Common App, the process for submitting letters is a bit different. Students will input your name and email into their Common App application, you will receive an email from Common App.
