Years as Advisor:7th year teaching Science and Robotics at Whitnall
Get to know the Advisor: I wanted to be an Aerospace Engineer and went to school at University of Minnesota for two years, but I took a summer job as a teacher assistant, I loved it and have been teaching Science and Engineering for the last 13 years. UW-La Crosse did not have an engineering department so I majored in Physics, and then found I could also teach engineering through Project Lead the Way. That's where I learned to program the robots for our team. I think Robotics is an interesting after school activity, and I'm jealous that I didn't have the opportunity when I was in school.
I love to fish. When I'm not working at school I'm most likely on a lake or in a stream. My favorite fish to catch is trout, Brook Trout are my favorite animal. I also enjoy woodworking, hunting, gardening, and cooking.
