Coaching Bio:

Coach Maya has been with WHS GVB since the 2020 season where she coached the JV Team for two years and then transitioned to the Head Coach position for the 2022 season.

Maya also coaches club volleyball for Motion Volleyball Program (New Berlin) and is the Head Coach for the Girls 16-National team. She played volleyball at Franklin High School and Next Level Volleyball Club and then attended UW-Platteville where she played Rugby and Club Volleyball for 5 years. Maya loves being outdoors and going on hikes with her dogs Bear (Corgi/Australian Shepherd) and Beans (Labrador/Husky).

Strong team connection and trust are important values Coach Maya aims to bring to the program. In order to solidify high-level game play and an increased volleyball IQ, players will need to work together seamlessly in any situation. Maya strives to make GVB a welcoming and productive environment where student-athletes can gain confidence on and off the court.

HOW TO JOIN

REGISTER on the Athletic Registration page on the WHS website.
TURN-IN a current completed and signed medical eligibility exam form signed by a doctor and parent. This needs to be uploaded during online registration in order to start practices.
PAY Athletic fee in Infinite Campus prior to participation ($100 per sport / $150 for football).
